Summer 2023 Market Update!

Hi everyone! 
So whats been happening with the Summer 2023 market? Well, I'm not seeing too much of a difference from a couple of months ago. I mean, there's still a lot of buyers. There's still low inventory. I think it's just because a lot of people have moved the last couple of years, so it just caused this pent-up demand. But I am finally seeing buyers be able to get homes a little better or more quickly. There's not as many way higher list price offers than what the list price is. I know people are going over list price, but it's not as crazy as it was a few months ago. I know the buyers are still out there, still trying to get a home, and there's still multiple offers, but again, it's kind of easing up a little bit from what I can see.

And this is Jackie Reed perspective. Wish I had a crystal ball to say what's going to happen in the future, but just like any market, like I've been doing this 29 years and I went through that last market crash and we never thought we would see a relief. And we did. And I'm sure we're going to continue to see one coming up soon, hopefully. And I know interest rates are still up there, but I know they're expected to come down. That's what I'm hearing. Not a lot, not like what we've seen years ago where it was crazy. Two 3% ... Well, I guess last year, right? Don't give up hope. I have had three sets of buyers who were also sellers. We had to make homes contingent on their closing and they were able to do it, where last year was almost impossible to do that. You had to sell your home and not be contingent at all. So there is some relief.
